Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary

This role supports daily finance operations during the ERP platform migration, ensuring timely invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes are up-to-date.

The position offers a 3-month contract with potential exposure to ERP transition and reconciliation activities, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for customer and supplier interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Collaboration with a third-party outsourcing partner managing finance functions.
  • Daily remote communication with the finance and sales teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Accounting knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for internal team liaison and external customer interaction.
  • Exposure to Xero or other accounting platforms.
  • Experience working within a business undergoing system change or ERP migration.
  • Reports directly to the IT and Finance Systems Manager.
  • Remote work with daily communication across the finance and sales teams.
