About the Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to join our dynamic finance team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations by managing financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow on a regular basis
  • Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
  • Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable and credit control
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing, including reconciliations and adjustments
  • Manage employee expense claims and ensure compliance with policies
Person Specification

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Broad experience in finance roles within companies adhering to US or UK GAAP
  • A track record of process improvement and automation in finance functions
  • Strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and general ledger maintenance
  • Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CPA)

The Desirable Candidate has:

  • Knowledge of either UK & US GAAP standards
  • Experience with expense systems and cloud-based finance tools
