**About the Role:**

The Accounts Payable Analyst at KMC Solutions performs professional level accounting work that requires expertise in Accounts Payable. This role contributes to overall financial health by ensuring all vendor payments meet Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company guidelines, policies, and procedures for approval and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier files and records, creating new suppliers, inactivating old supplier records, and ensuring the supplier master file is current and updated.
  • Coordinate the accounts payable process to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely recording of invoices and its payment, including processing invoices daily, confirming proper approval of invoices by the existence of Purchase Orders (POs) prior to incurring the expense, and filing invoices, POs, and maintaining complete and accurate supporting files and documentation.
  • Analyze budget overruns, excessive expenses, cost trends, and saving opportunities.

You'll Thrive if:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • You have 2-4 years of experience in supporting fast-growing global companies.
  • You possess meticulous attention to detail, deadline-driven, and strong grasp of overarching concepts.
  • You have effective communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • You are comfortable with establishing new processes and solving complex challenges.
  • You have experience with accounts payable systems such as Tipalti (recommended).
  • You are experienced with Oracle NetSuite and comfortable with creating reports, searches, and transactions.
