The Opportunity

Our partner specializes in the design, tooling and manufacturing of plastic injection molded products servicing a variety of industries and applications. They possess over 50 years' experience in the plastics industry providing customers with creative product design, expert material selection, product prototyping & mold design.

They are expanding their team, and looking for an Account Payable/ Bookkeeper to be part of the successful and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, and supporting the overall bookkeeping function.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process invoices, end to end Payment Runs, cross-checking and related transactions, including credit cards, in line with company and requirements.
  2. Provide support and advice to the business about asset management.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  4. Support payroll processing and other accounting duties as needed.
  5. Strong in Bank Reconciliation and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  6. Ability to assist with month-end closing and prepare for audits.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  1. Min Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance to an equivalent field.
  2. At least 3-5 years of working experience in Accounts Payable and Bookkeeping.
  3. Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  5. Able to effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
