Job Opportunity: Legal Assistant

Scale Up Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal assistant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for helping clients achieve their legal goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal team.
  • Develop case strategies and oversee the implementation of these strategies.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activity.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer any questions they may have.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their cases.
  • Coordinate with outside experts and vendors as needed to ensure that clients receive the best possible representation.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the legal team as they work on individual cases.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a legal assistant in a Personal Injury law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other case management software.
