Customer Service Representative Role

  • This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to distributors by responding to phone or email requests.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a team-oriented approach to work.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.
  2. Serving as the primary contact for external and internal customers to process, enter, maintain, and provide status of all standard and special orders.
  3. Quoting established pricing and modified tools, providing basic technical support, and recommending products for customer applications.
  4. Maintaining open communication with internal sales personnel and the Customer Service Manager regarding customer-sensitive issues.
  5. Meeting departmental KPIs and supporting Accounts Receivable by investigating disputed payments and processing credit memos as needed.

The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

They should be adept at cultivating productive relationships with distributors, multitasking, and taking deadlines seriously.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent manufacturing industry experience with 3-5 years of customer service experience is required.

Product knowledge and industry experience with metal cutting tools are a plus but not required.

">

Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to multitask and work in a global team environment.

Job Environment
