Talent Acquisition Specialist Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process. This encompasses identifying high-quality candidates for various consulting and project-based needs within life sciences, healthcare, IT, and federal contracting spaces.

This includes:

  • Supporting full-cycle recruitment from job analysis and postings to interviewing, selection, offer, and onboarding.
  • Posting jobs across internal portals, job boards, and social media channels.
  • Sourcing candidates through Boolean searches, LinkedIn, databases, job portals, referral networks, and outreach campaigns.
  • Screening resumes and conducting phone/video interviews to assess skills, experience, and culture fit.
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Coordinating interviews between candidates and clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing and presenting candidate summaries to clients and hiring managers with clear rationale.
  • Extending offers, negotiating compensation, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven recruitment experience in agency or corporate settings.
  • Prior experience recruiting within life sciences, healthcare, IT, or technical staffing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools like LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
