Residential Plumbing Quality Assurance Specialist

As a remote Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee licensed plumbers in the field to ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards. Your key responsibilities include reviewing diagnoses, validating scopes of work, and managing high-volume residential work orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and validate numerous plumbing work orders daily across residential sites to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate contractor reports, photos, and videos for adherence to quality standards.
- Identify incomplete or inaccurate bids and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues promptly.
- Provide technical guidance and escalate quality concerns to senior management as needed.
- Ensure all documentation and data entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the final QA checkpoint before work approval, scheduling, or billing to guarantee quality delivery.
- Utilize internal platforms for efficient workflow management and collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot delays or issues.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential plumbing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Master Plumber certification or equivalent.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to assess work via photos, videos, and notes.
- Familiarity with common residential plumbing issues and relevant building codes.
- Ability to identify subpar work and guide contractors toward correct scope and compliance.
- Clear, confident communication skills for technical discussions and presentations.
- Quick adaptability to new software platforms and technology.
- Excellent organizational skills managing multiple work orders and projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
