Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Operations Director to lead and expand our remote operations team. This senior leadership role demands someone with strong financial management skills and proven operations experience who can establish efficient systems, oversee diverse operational functions, and manage both internal teams and external specialists across areas they may not personally specialize in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee a team of 4-8 operations professionals covering business operations, accounting/HR, administrative support, sales/marketing support, and business technology
  • Provide strategic guidance, performance management, and professional development for team members with diverse skill sets
Financial Management:
  • Oversee bookkeeping and accounting operations including A/R management, billing cycles, payment processing, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain relationships with CPAs and external financial advisors
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow, budgeting processes, and annual planning processes
Strategic Operations & Systems:
  • Design and implement scalable back-office processes that enable our professional services and sales teams to focus on client delivery and business development
  • Collaborate with Business Operations Technologists to enhance system integrations, automation, and data management
  • Drive data-informed decision making through KPI development, reporting systems, and operational analytics
Consultant & Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and service providers, coordinating projects in areas outside your direct expertise
  • Evaluate and onboard new service providers as business needs evolve
