Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled database administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases and be able to provide technical consulting and managed services to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Database administration, including HA and DR technologies
  • Installation and configuration of SQL DB engine, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS
  • SQL performance tuning & investigation
  • SQL Server upgrades, downgrades, and migrations
  • SQL Patching
  • Logshipping, Database Mirroring Replication and Always On
  • Azure SQL Database Administration
  • SQL Server migration from on prem to cloud based assets
  • Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a database administrator, with implementations, upgrades, migrations, conversions, and consolidation projects with Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database ranging from SQL 2005 to SQL 2022 on Windows platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills
  • Ability to follow direction and take ownership of any allocated projects/changes/incidents/problems
  • Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server Always On / HADR
