Job Title: Database Developer

As a Database Developer, your primary focus will be on designing, building, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases for a cloud-based commercial software development project.

This role requires the use of tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of desired products. The position may also involve building data imports for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build databases to support new software development
  • Work with Senior DBA to obtain database specifications and requirements
  • Review and maintain server backups
  • Architect and maintain large-scale data infrastructure based on NoSQL technologies
  • Stress test and optimize the system for efficiency in a distributed database environment

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, good troubleshooting abilities, and experience with database architecture and optimization techniques.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relational database experience (MS SQL preferred)
  • Understanding of database design for data-driven applications
  • Analytical thinking and good communication skills
