Senior Solution Engineer - Data Cloud

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our fast-paced, customer-focused Product and Technology team as a Senior Solution Engineer. This role involves connecting technology, data, and client needs to develop impactful data solutions in a remote-first company that values flexibility, collaboration, and innovation.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and the ability to manage multiple commitments and set stakeholder expectations. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with engineering and data teams to resolve data issues and create delivery pipelines, ensuring timely and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement data solutions based on specifications, utilizing industry-leading tools and technologies.
  2. Conduct quality assurance on custom datasets for clients, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Create automated queries, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  6. Develop comprehensive onboarding materials, including guides and FAQs, to support successful project outcomes.
  7. Provide technical expertise during customer calls, working closely with PMs and TAMs to address data-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with customers on data integration and utilization.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and relevant data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in e-commerce or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with data integration systems, including FTP, S3, GCP, and Azure.
