This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of scheduled appointments, preventing billing issues and conflicts.

The Appointment Scheduling Assurance Specialist is responsible for overseeing appointment codes, schedule adjustments, and critical scheduling documents. The specialist coordinates and verifies that appointments do not overlap or conflict with other provider appointments, facilitating seamless service delivery to clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily and weekly appointments, adjusting conflicting appointments, planning bloodwork and urine screening appointments, and updating client lists. Additionally, the specialist assists supervisors with tasks, maintains a safe work environment, and participates in audits and quality improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this position, you will require excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of scheduling principles and procedures, with experience working in healthcare or a related field. A degree in a relevant discipline, such as healthcare administration or business management, is desirable.
