Mid-Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to lead the design, development and maintenance of our data pipelines, ETL processes and data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support existing customer implementations by ensuring timely and effective resolutions to database and data-related issues.
  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and data integration solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and data-related issues, providing expert-level solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop strategic data engineering solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience in database design, management and optimization is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL is required.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python are necessary for success in this role.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques is essential.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
