Job Overview

Gartner seeks a finance professional to provide strategic insights and guidance to CFOs globally. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in helping CFOs develop and implement finance technology strategies, focusing on cloud-based ERP solutions.

As a subject matter expert, you will advise CFO clients, publish research, and lead client interactions via video conference or virtual events. Your goal is to help clients overcome complex challenges and achieve better performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a finance technology domain expert, providing strategic guidance and publishing research on topics such as cloud ERP transformation, AI adoption, and finance technology strategy development.
  • Collaborate with experienced analysts to create authoritative research and advice addressing CFO priorities and challenges.
  • Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations with clients.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on cloud ERP business case development, vendor evaluation, implementation, and post-go-live management.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in finance department roles or consulting roles supporting large cloud ERP projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of finance technology and cloud ERP software market trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities.
  • Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build support for finance technology initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master's degree highly desirable.
  • Ability to conduct occasional travel regionally and globally.
