ERP Lead Functional Consultant

Lead Functional Consultant is responsible for overseeing the full implementation of Acumatica solutions, ensuring seamless integration, and facilitating successful client adoption. This role leads the implementation team, manages project timelines, and coordinates with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Actively participate in and contribute to project planning, including scope definition, accurate effort estimation, and effective resource allocation for functional tasks
• Monitor and track the progress of project deliverables, identifying potential risks and proactively proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure strict adherence to chosen project methodologies and maintain high-quality standards throughout all functional phases of the project.
• Manage change requests to functional requirements and scope, meticulously assessing their impact on project timelines and resources.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between functional teams, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery.
• Actively contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and change management processes, ensuring successful project delivery.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• The role is responsible to work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their current business processes, challenges, and goals.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify what the client really needs from a system, often translating complex business requirements into clear, detailed functional specifications.
• This involves leading discovery calls, data gathering interviews, workshops, and documentation.

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Develop comprehensive functional specifications, design documents, and detailed process flows to guide the implementation of solutions.
• Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of ERP ("Acumatica") software solutions to meet client needs while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to functional consultants, developers, project managers, and practice leader to ensure comprehensive solution design and seamless integration.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sign-off.
• Lead and facilitate UAT sessions, ensuring that all functional deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
• Identify and document system gap and recommend solutions.

Training & Support:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior and senior functional consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Conduct training sessions on ERP implementation methodologies, processes, and system navigation for internal Functional Consultants.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of implementation projects such as functional requirements, processes, system and business gaps, change request, decision list, and other document related.
• Generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.

Industry & Product Knowledge:

• Stay up to date with ERP industry trends, best practices, and innovations to continuously enhance internal processes and service delivery.
• Maintain current and valid Acumatica certifications required for the role, and actively pursue new certifications as they become available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any Finance related course.
• 5years of progressive experience in functional consulting roles, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity, specializing in Acumatica.
• Proven experience in leading at least 6 full lifecycle enterprise application implementations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of core business processes and best practices across various industries.
