Digital Technology Product - Finance

Responsibilities

  • Led the implementation and configuration of the SAP Finance module, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and managing project timelines
  • Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices
  • Provide expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP
  • Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions
  • Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization
  • Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors as needed for SAP Finance module support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP ERP as a FICO functional consultant with experience in global rollouts including integration with other modules like SD/MM
  • Proven experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or SAP Finance Lead, with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation is a must with exposure to New GL Accounting and New Asset Accounting
  • Familiarity with RE-FX and IFRS 16 is beneficial
  • Exposure to Archiving and Data Retention tools is beneficial
  • Familiar with ALE and Idocs functionalities
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology and Product-Led Architecture
  • SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and/or Controlling (CO) modules is beneficial
  • Exposure to basic ITIL
