Job Overview

The Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant is responsible for the implementation and setup of the SAP Finance module, ensuring seamless integration with organizational needs and industry best practices.

  • Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with business objectives and leverage finance and accounting expertise.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP.
  • Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions.
  • Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization.
  • Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP ERP as a FICO functional consultant with experience in global rollouts, including integration with other modules like SD/MM.
  • Extensive experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or SAP Finance Lead, with experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation is valuable, with exposure to New GL Accounting and New Asset Accounting.
  • Familiarity with RE-FX and IFRS 16.
  • Exposure to the Archiving and Data Retention tool.
  • Familiar with ALE and Idocs functionalities.
  • Proficient understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology and Product-Led Architecture.
  • SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
  • Exposure to basic ITIL.
