Job Title: Customer Service Representative

 

This is a dedicated role for an experienced customer service professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in handling healthcare accounts, specifically with experience in AthenaOne EMR, and possess a background in collections.

As a customer service representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction in our healthcare account management department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare clients utilizing AthenaOne EMR.
  • Utilize expertise in healthcare accounts to navigate AthenaOne EMR system effectively
  • Handle customer accounts in collections, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances, and negotiating payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account updates in the company database.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare account management to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of AthenaOne EMR software.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling collections accounts and familiarity with collections practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and software, including MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, or holidays as needed to accommodate business needs.
