Inpatient Educator

The Medical Coding Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality medical coding education to new and existing medical coders. This role involves developing and maintaining training modules, providing onboarding and refresher training, and disseminating updates to guidelines and rules.
As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional workgroups to resolve issues impacting internal and external customers. Your expertise in ICD 10 CM, ICD 10 PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines will be essential in ensuring accurate and compliant training programs.
This role requires a strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management, E/M, and Procedure Coding principles. You will also need to maintain proficiency in emerging technologies and adapt to changing job responsibilities, shifting schedules, and new procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate of any Medical or Allied Medical course or equivalent work experience.
- CPC certification from AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA.
- Proficient with Revenue Cycle Management, E/M, and Procedure Coding.
