Master Data Management Professional

 

  • Support the setup and maintenance of vendor and customer data within an emerging shared services organization.
  • Work independently to create and modify master data with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring system data is used globally for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and execute master data creation requests, ensuring no viable duplicates exist.
  • Ensure necessary approvals are obtained before executing updates in master data.
  • Validate information as indicated in service now request forms to understand vendor and customer requirements.
  • Participate in analyzing and investigating vendor and customer account integration failures/issues from MDM Oracle and Syteline system.
  • Regularly update and cleanse master data within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing timely, relevant, and accurate business information for use by all levels of management.
  • Perform mass updates, if necessary, to existing customer records.
  • Support ad-hoc or by-request reports from the business.
  • Ensure full compliance to external and internal audits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any Business Related Course
  • Minimum 2 years' Master Data Management experience. Degree in Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with a major ERP system (i.e., Oracle, SAP etc.) managing data in large ERP systems, Oracle preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skill
  • Willingness to work on North America time frame
Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, positive, and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with suppliers, internal customers, and coworkers; fully observe ethical conduct policies and quality standards.
