About This Role

We are seeking an Avionics Engineer to join our team.

  • This role involves studying and analyzing pertinent correspondences, manuals and publications issued by aircraft and component manufacturers for inclusion in Aircraft Operations Specifications.
  • It also requires evaluating vendors' technical specifications proposals for aircraft and avionics equipment, and coordinating with manufacturers on observed malfunctions not covered by approved manual references.

In this role, you will evaluate, coordinate, recommend, design, and approve aircraft improvements such as modifications and part upgrades for systems and components as required.

You will also periodically review component fleet reliability to determine optimum protection levels and provide recommended spare levels to ensure continuous operation.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in any aviation-related four-year course and a minimum of four years experience as an Avionics Engineer. PRC Engineering license is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Studies and analyzes all pertinent correspondences, manuals and publications periodically issued by the Aircraft, and component manufacturers for possible inclusion in the company's Aircraft Operations Specifications
  • Studies, analyzes and issues instruction on optional, recommended and mandatory inspection and modifications issued by State of Design, CAAP and component manufacturers to meet implementation target.
  • Evaluates and issues recommendation on all Vendors' Technical Specifications proposal for Aircraft and Avionics Equipment.
  • Coordinates with the Aircraft and Avions manufacturers all observed malfunctions that are not in the approved manual references.
  • Evaluates, coordinates, recommends, designs and approves aircraft improvements such as modifications and part upgrade for aircraft systems and components as required.
  • Forwards annual and unscheduled (non-incident/accident related) DFDR and CVR data directly to a contracted service provider based from the allotted due date.
  • Periodically reviews component fleet reliability to determine optimum protection level and provides recommended spare level to ensure continuous and undisrupted operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any aviation-related four-year course
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience as an Avionics Engineer
  • PRC Engineering license is preferred
