Refueling Operations Technician

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of refueling equipment, focusing on fuel quality control and timely delivery services for departing aircraft.

  • Conduct daily inspections of refueling equipment to identify potential issues and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Perform fuel quality checks, including draining and flushing procedures, to maintain compliance with established safety standards.
  • Operate refueler trucks safely and efficiently, providing prompt fueling services to meet departure schedules.
  • Accurately document fuel transactions using standard tracking and reporting tools to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure organized record-keeping of fuel uplifts, equipment checks, and maintenance actions to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and log refueler truck system indicators, such as differential pressure, to track maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas at all times to promote a safe working environment.
  • Promptly report incidents or issues and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to contribute to the team's success.
Requirements

This position requires a graduate of a four-year degree or vocational course, along with specialized training in aviation refueling, fuel handling, and quality control. Candidates must also have attended safety-focused seminars, including ramp safety, defensive driving, and fire fighting.
