Job Overview:
- This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can efficiently collect, process, and visualize data to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability of updated and insightful dashboards/reports that support decision-making and action planning by collaborating with teams to determine report parameters, integrating and cleansing data, providing helpful insights and recommendations, and conducting training sessions on dashboard/report usage.
- Maintain high data integrity and confidentiality through organized data folders, standardized naming conventions, updated reports registry, and controlled user accessibility. Perform periodic files maintenance, including archiving and deleting of outdated files.
- Utilize tools to create user-friendly dashboards/reports that aggregate data from various sources. Design and develop top-level reports for 'one-number' reporting and analysis across channels.
- Identify and raise red flags to alert the sales team and facilitate quick, impactful decision-making. Monitor data for anomalies and discrepancies and take appropriate actions.
- Identify areas for improvement in current analytics-related business processes. Develop initiatives, coordinate with stakeholders, lead implementation efforts, and analyze and monitor the results of implemented changes.
- Efficiently and effectively integrate and manage data from various sources (SAP, Webi, SFA, Manual) with a high level of confidentiality in terms of data processing, data access, and dashboards/reports distribution.
- Provide proactive dashboards, analysis, insights, and recommendations that will guide the sales team's performance and action plans.
- Continually identify, design, and improve relevant reports, dashboards, and tools to deliver effective reporting systems and provide related support to assigned sales channels.
- Maintain good and harmonious relationships with all stakeholders through professional and productive discussions about projects, training, and reports/dashboards.
Requirements:
- College graduate preferably degree course in Business (Management, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics), Engineering or Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst in sales or any related field.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in using various data analytics tools like Gsheets, Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or other similar software.
- Has experience in collaborating with different teams in various analytics-related projects.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Highly organized, efficient, and effective in data collection, data processing, and data visualization.
- Quick learner and versatile, able to cope with changing project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Good customer focus, able to understand and translate customer requirements into technical parameters that can be measured, controlled, and improved.
- Team player and problem solver, able to collaborate with others productively and come up with practical solutions to problems.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility in terms of data confidentiality and project execution.
- Highly confident, able to relay information and instructions with authority yet still in a respectful manner.
- Passionate about process improvement and able to quickly spot areas/processes which can be improved.
