Job Opportunity: Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to assume the role of Data Insights Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis, a keen understanding of the education sector, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets using Python and SQL to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, they will develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Presentation of findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences is also a key aspect of this role.

Collaboration with academic and administrative units is crucial to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights. The successful candidate will support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.

Data accuracy, consistency, and security are essential across all analytical outputs.

Required Skills:
  • Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
