Job Overview

This role focuses on implementing and configuring large-scale Workday solutions for a global customer base.

You will work closely with team members and independently to manage your workload, understanding customer requirements, designing, and delivering aligned solutions.

Additionally, you will support junior team members and share knowledge with them.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a customer-facing consulting environment, able to understand customer needs and build relationships.

A clear communicator, they must be able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy, including in remote working situations.

They should also possess commercial awareness and a sound understanding of project and business dynamics.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification (US payroll a requirement)
  • Experience in a customer-facing consulting environment, with ability to understand customer needs and build relationships
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy
  • Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
  • Capable of working within teams, alongside customers, and on individual tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to plan own workload and meet deadlines
  • Some consulting skills, e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers
  • Able to apply relevant standards and procedures to own work, maintaining high quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements, ensuring security of information at all times
  • Able to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
  • Willing to learn in depth about relevant subject matter, e.g., international regulatory requirements
  • Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
  • Able to travel to customer sites in the same region, with minimal out-of-region travel required
