Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting services, you will work closely with clients to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions.

You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs. Additionally, you will support more junior members of the team, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in implementing and configuring Workday solutions. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Requirements
  • Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification (US payroll a must)
  • Experience in a customer-facing, consulting environment
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with credibility and empathy
  • Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
  • Capable of working within teams and alongside customers, as well as on individual tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to plan own workload and meet deadlines
  • Some consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to clients
  • Able to apply relevant standards and procedures to own work, maintaining high quality, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times
  • Able to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
  • Willing to learn in depth about relevant subject matter e.g., international regulatory requirements
  • Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
  • Able, if required, to travel to client sites in the same region (minimal out-of-region travel may also be required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Australian Payroll Experience
  • Experience in post-deployment services
