Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with expertise in handling global VAT, GST or US Sales Tax returns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing various tax returns and filing them on time, as well as preparing month end reconciliations of tax sensitive accounts. They will also assist and support the tax team in answering audit requests, research new indirect tax legislations, and collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

This is a remote position that requires the ability to work independently and communicate effectively through verbal and written platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to analyze and interpret financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a tax accountant in a multinational company or professional accounting firm
  • Experience in handling global VAT, GST or US Sales Tax returns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
