Linux Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers experiencing complex issues with Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve intricate customer problems through thorough analysis and effective communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our field support teams and participate in collaborative discussions to improve processes.
  • Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and work closely with upstream communities for inclusion.
  • Review code produced by other engineers and provide constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment in technical methods and techniques.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in team discussions to enhance processes, tools, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic credentials.
  • Background in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience working with Linux and open source software.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C, or C++ on Linux.
  • A strong drive to learn new technologies and tackle challenging issues.
