Job Role: Technical Support Specialist


About the Position

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a strong technical background in IT security.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and remote desktop.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and implement solutions using specific software tools and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in multiple areas of IT security, including antivirus, networking, and encryption technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to handle escalated calls with confidence.


Technical Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of IT security concepts, including network protocols (HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SMB, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Linux, Unix).
  • Familiarity with firewall configurations and cloud-based services.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash) and web application security.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a passion for learning and continuous improvement. If you have experience working with proxy servers, email security, or active directory, that's a bonus
