Embedded Linux Systems Specialist

We are seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to expand our reach in mission-critical industries. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in Linux distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and customer engagement.
The Embedded Linux Engineer will work closely with customers to gather requirements, explain technology solutions, and propose tailored approaches. This role involves collaborating on select projects related to Embedded Linux and conveying market insights to key stakeholders.
- Key responsibilities include engaging customers during presales, elaborating solutions for prospective clients, participating in Embedded Linux projects, and communicating market requirements.
- Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with customer engagements, knowledge of relevant technologies such as Yocto, Buildroot, deb, rpm, etc.
- Fluent language skills and willingness to travel regularly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
- Distribution/Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...).
- Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...).
- Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented, ability to multi-task.
- A personal drive to meet commitments; humble learner and quick study.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
