Quality Assurance Lead

The role is responsible for leading daily vendor qualification operations within the QA team, overseeing vendor selection and qualifications, acting as a subject matter expert in internal forums and vendor-related meetings, building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support vendor use and management, contributing to audit schedules and quality metrics, driving process improvement by reviewing and updating procedural documentation, and supporting strategic planning of vendor assurance initiatives.

Beyond vendor qualification, you will also contribute to broader QA activities including:

  • Delivering compliance advice on regulatory matters
  • Conducting internal and external audits to ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Supporting sponsor audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Reviewing and improving QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily vendor qualification operations
  • Oversee vendor selection and assessments

  • Drive process improvement through review and update of procedural documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical company or CRO focused on clinical trials
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance activities and understanding of vendor oversight strategies in regulated environments
  • Strong background in QA and GxP auditing, especially GCP, with experience across other GxP areas advantageous
  • Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel across regions if required
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare disciplines
