Data Center Channel Growth Strategist

The Data Center Channel Growth Strategist is a vital role at Datashield OEM Solutions Inc, focusing on developing strong relationships with key channel partners to drive business growth through the sales of data center solutions.
About the RoleThis position involves recruiting new channel partners, providing comprehensive training and enablement, and offering continuous support to ensure partners are aligned with company goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales, pre-sales, and technical teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure the success of channel partner initiatives.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key channel partners.
- Recruit and onboard new channel partners to expand the partner network.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources to channel partners to ensure success and satisfaction.
- Drive the sales of data center solutions through channel partners, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to optimize channel partner performance.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to support sales efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with channel partners, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
- Provide comprehensive training and enablement to channel partners, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing strategies.
- Develop and deliver sales tools, materials, and other resources to empower channel partners to sell more effectively.
- Support channel partners in their marketing and promotional activities to boost product visibility and drive sales.
- Track, monitor, and analyze sales performance metrics for each channel partner.
- Identify performance gaps and work with partners to develop strategies for improvement.
- Implement initiatives and strategies to enhance channel partner performance and ensure business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of data center solutions (is an advantage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with channel partners.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to drive successful sales and partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals and ensure successful channel partner management.
