Key job responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Implementation project teams to deliver best-practice Dayforce configurations
  • Providing limited customer support for clients awaiting implementation of their Dayforce product
  • Developing long-term solutions to address configuration gaps identified by Dayforce customers post go-live

The Senior Solutions Specialist must ensure timely completion of these projects across various Dayforce modules and guarantee that the solutions provided align with customers' needs.

Mentoring and consulting with team members, documenting implementation process gaps, and incorporating best practices are also essential responsibilities.

Furthermore, the Senior Solutions Specialist collaborates with internal teams to enhance implementation quality and minimize rework post go-live.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Create a project plan using effort estimation, outline action items, measure progress, make adjustments, and follow the plan through to completion
    • Provide significant and timely updates to customers
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects for a customer while maintaining strong relationships
  • Solution Development:
    • Consult customers on various options to address business requirements
    • Leverage best practices and consider downstream effects of configuration choices
    • Apply deep understanding of data flow in Dayforce and third-party applications
    • Consider product performance and cloud resources to optimize solutions
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Write SQL code to identify, troubleshoot, and fix data and configuration issues in the customer's Dayforce instance
    • Understand, troubleshoot, and modify XML and XSLT code
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer-related fields
  • 4+ years of support experience or equivalent
  • Superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
  • Expert understanding of programming, HTML, and Microsoft Server Technology
  • Technical knowledge of XML and XSLT
  • Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in support, consulting, and/or project management specifically in the HCM space
  • Certification in the HCM space such as CPA Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals
