Loan Processing Specialist

This role involves supporting a mortgage brokerage with loan processing and credit assessment functions.

  • End-to-end loan processing from application to settlement
  • Liaising with lenders, clients, and third parties
  • Conducting credit analysis and assessing borrower eligibility
  • Preparing loan documentation, serviceability calculations, and lender comparisons
  • Utilizing CRM systems for efficient workflow management
  • Staying current with industry updates and best practices

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in the Australian mortgage space is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing and managing loan applications
  • Coordinating with external parties to secure necessary documents
  • Analyzing credit reports and making informed decisions on borrower suitability
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with lenders and clients
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably within the Australian mortgage industry.
