Australian Mortgage Broking Assistant

This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to excel in Australian mortgage broking support, with a strong focus on administrative excellence, efficient loan processing, and seamless client coordination. As a key member of the team, you will assist mortgage brokers in their daily operations, ensuring every step of the loan process runs smoothly.
Job Description:
- Support mortgage brokers through various tasks such as document collection, verification, and compliance checks, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders, maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, and third parties to track loan progress, request additional information when needed, and provide timely updates.
- Manage an organized CRM system, keeping updated loan statuses and client records up-to-date.
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Australian mortgage broking support or back-office loan processing.
- Solid track record in preparing, submitting, and tracking loan applications for Australian lenders and aggregators.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud collaboration tools.
- Exceptional document management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in professional English.

Additional Information:
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment are essential for this role. Availability to work AEST/ACST hours is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Application Processing: Assist in gathering and verifying client documents, prepare and submit loan applications to lenders, and follow up with banks and clients to track loan progress.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answer inquiries, and provide updates on loan status.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory and lender guidelines, conduct preliminary assessments to determine client eligibility, and maintain industry knowledge to ensure compliance.
- Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, manage the mortgage broker's calendar, and prepare and send loan estimates, disclosures, and follow-up emails.
