Mortgage Loan Specialist

We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Specialist to join our lending team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse financial and personal documentation such as credit reports, tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements.
- Prepare and submit loan packages to underwriting for approval.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Evaluate and verify all required documentation against regulatory requirements.
- Track and update loan status in the system, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
- Resolve documentation or credit issues and request additional information when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company policies and auditing standards.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in loan processing or mortgage broking.
- Proficiency in loan origination systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
