Executive Chef

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team in delivering high-quality Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. As Executive Chef, you will oversee the culinary operations and ensure that every dish meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and portioning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and innovate menus that showcase our brand's unique concept, balancing traditional techniques with modern creativity.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, efficiency, and teamwork.
  • Manage food inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control to achieve optimal profitability.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management on seasonal promotions, new dishes, and signature concepts that elevate our dining experience.
  • Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure seamless operations during peak periods.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment that drives employee satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in fine dining establishments, preferably with expertise in Japanese, Peruvian, or fusion cuisine.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing staff.
  • Creative vision and ability to develop innovative menus that reflect our brand identity.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food costing, budgeting, and inventory control, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Culinary degree or specialized training in Japanese or Peruvian cuisine (a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
