As a seasoned Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) design leader, you will oversee the development of detailed designs and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Lead OCS design ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry standards
  • Mentor junior engineers in technical guidance and quality deliverables
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, signaling, and power supply teams for seamless integration
  • Review and approve technical documents and vendor submissions
  • Conduct advanced technical assessments including load and tension analysis and system reliability studies
  • Manage complex design interfaces and resolve issues to prevent delays or quality issues
  • Support procurement activities through vendor evaluation and contract management
  • Ensure all design activities comply with local and international railway standards and regulations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Railway Engineering
  • 5+ years of professional experience in OCS design including preliminary, pre-final, and final design drawings
  • Japanese catenary design experience is desirable
  • Ability to analyze and review design documents and provide technical input
  • Experience in technical liaison meetings and project coordination
