About the Role

This exceptional opportunity presents itself as an open position within a SaaS company operating in the donor management and fundraising space. The successful candidate will take on a pivotal role, providing technical expertise as the right-hand partner to the founder. This demanding yet rewarding position combines new feature development, bug resolution, and system ownership across the front-end and back-end of the platform.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, be self-motivated, and have excellent communication abilities. As part of a small internal team, they will have the opportunity to drive mission-critical development work from day one, taking full ownership of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new features and functionalities, utilizing the Microsoft stack (C#, MVC, SQL, Azure)
  • Oversee maintenance, debugging, and improvement of existing codebases, prioritizing stability and performance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and production bugs, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality results
  • Collaborate closely with the founder on product priorities and architecture, developing effective solutions that meet business objectives
  • Contribute to occasional UI tasks using Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in web design and development
  • Produce well-documented, clean, and testable code that meets industry standards
  • Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, driving continuous learning and growth within the team
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer in a SaaS environment
  • Strong mastery of the Microsoft stack: C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Azure
  • Proficiency in front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Ability to independently investigate bugs across application logic and database layers
  • Excellent written English skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Comfortable working closely with senior-level professionals, such as founders/CTOs, in a fast-paced startup-style environment
