
Remote Patient Care Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through remote intake services. This includes managing phone calls, gathering client information, and coordinating appointments with doctors.
They will be required to listen actively, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive health information with professionalism and empathy.
Additionally, they will be responsible for scheduling same-day or urgent appointments, determining the best-suited doctor for each case, and communicating promptly with doctors to confirm their availability.
Our team member will also be responsible for sending out confirmation details and informative follow-ups to patients and doctors, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service, patient intake, or call center role
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English and strong written communication
- Ability to convey information calmly and effectively to patients who may be anxious or in distress
- Active listening skills and a patient, empathetic telephone demeanor
- Customer-centric approach, with a genuine passion for helping people and providing outstanding service
- Organizational skills, including exceptional multitasking and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using technology to facilitate workflow, with experience in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, scheduling software, or CRM tools
- Critical thinking and quick decision-making skills to effectively match doctors with patients and resolve any scheduling or logistical conflicts
- Attention to detail, with meticulous recording of patient information, scheduling details, and follow-up notes
- Team collaboration, including ability to work as part of a remote team, communicating with colleagues and doctors across time zones
