We are seeking a Senior Financial Professional with exceptional technical expertise to lead our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian compliance, financial statement preparation and tax returns. They will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, providing client support and managing workflow to ensure timely delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review complex financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients and provide compliance support.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate accountants.
  • Workflow Management: Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Advisory Support: Support managers with advisory tasks and client communications.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical tax knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience supervising and training team members.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator with client liaison experience.
  • Prioritization and Review: Ability to manage multiple priorities and review work to a high standard.
