
Freight Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales representatives by coordinating all shipments and proactively communicating with scheduling, load management, and carrier sales to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operational processes and requirements for customers and be responsible for updating SOPs on a regular basis. You will also be required to communicate effectively with customers on the status of their shipments and handle Quote and Book tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Main Operational Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of a load.
- Operational Process Expertise: Have a deep understanding of all operational processes and requirements for your customers and be responsible for updating SOPs on a regular basis.
- Proactive Communication: Proactively communicate with customers on the status of their shipments and when issues arise.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure loads are meeting OTP and OTD.
- Quote and Book Tasks: Handle Quote and Book tasks as required by the subset of customers assigned.
You will also assist with the scheduling/rescheduling of appointments, perform scorecard audits, provide customer feedback, process accessorials, and assist with fixing RPM/FSC discrepancies for billing.
Requirements:- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills both internal and customer-facing.
- Experience in Logistics: At least 9 months' work experience at a US logistics brokerage with shippers.
- Scheduling Experience: Experience with scheduling tasks is a plus but not required.
- Quote & Book Experience: Experience with Quote & Book tasks is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset.
- Issue Resolution: Able to quickly assess and resolve issues.
