Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to drive the people agenda across our manufacturing site in Cabuyao and all business functions in-country. This is a dynamic and energetic role that requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish a strong feedback culture with a growth mindset.

The successful candidate will ensure that HR practices and policies are aligned with global standards and tailored to meet local business and regulatory requirements. They will deploy employee and management development & employee engagement programs as well as culture and workforce productivity initiatives.

  • Supports and coaches managers with HR related matters.
  • Deploys employee and management development & employee engagement programs as well as culture and workforce productivity initiatives.
  • Effectively manages employee relations related matters in the country.
  • Leads local recruitment efforts in attracting top talent for the organization.
  • Nurtures a positive working environment reflecting the organization's values, ethical standards, and culture.
  • Represents site/country view to Corporate HR to develop deployable global HR programs and policies.
  • Ensures efficient deployment of HR programs and policies in the applicable country.
  • Provides support to Business Groups and corporate functions to plan and execute organizational change programs in the country.
  • Inventories leadership and soft skills development needs and develops and deploys plans to address these needs in alignment with the Learning and Development COE.
  • Develops and implements effective absence management and disciplinary policies in line with local legislation.
  • Built a strong capable HR team.
  • Ensures effective operation of the payroll process and the HR and benefit administration.
  • Ensures compliance with local legislation, applicable standards, and company policies and guidelines such as the Code of Conduct.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A proven track record as a HR Leader, with at least 10+ years of experience in a HR leadership role, ideally with in a previous experience working in global high-tech industry.
  • In-depth knowledge in local Employment Act and HR best practices.
  • Extensive Knowledge in compensation and benefit practices, HR systems, and databases.
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving and project management skills; a solutions-based approach to solving people issues.
  • Good judgement with strong business acumen and ability to establish a strong feedback culture with growth mindset.
  • Flexible in response to employee needs; maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and composure.
  • Organizational Skills: ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and multi task.
  • English communication skills both verbal and written.
