Job Opportunity

The Human Resources Business Partner will play a pivotal role in scaling people operations for distributed teams, while maintaining our culture and values.

The ideal candidate will possess a commercially-minded approach to HR, with experience in strategic workforce planning and a background in employment laws.

  • Strategic People Partnership:
    • Act as the primary HR partner to senior leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, headcount planning, and capability development.
    • Translate demand forecasts into hiring plans, bench strategy, and secondment plans that balance business needs and employee well-being.
    • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and effective communication.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
    • Responsible for executing end-to-end hiring processes, including administrative requirements, file management, and documentation.
    • Partner with Talent to define role profiles for UX, UI, CX, and leadership roles.
    • Improve time-to-hire and offer acceptance through clear briefs, structured interviews, and fair assessment tasks.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth transition and high levels of engagement.
  • Performance, Growth, and Culture:
    • Implement a consistent performance cycle each quarter, ensuring clear expectations, timely feedback, and growth plans.
    • Maintain up-to-date role frameworks and salary bands for all employees, keeping them market-aligned and fair.
    • Develop targeted learning programs tailored to the skills and interests of the team, focusing on leadership development, client readiness, and workflow optimization.
    • Enhance employee engagement through regular check-ins, open communication, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Employee Relations and Wellbeing:
    • Address Employee Relation matters with sensitivity and fairness, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution.
    • Provide expert advice to senior leaders on HR-related matters, ensuring decisions align with local employment laws, cultural practices, and regulatory obligations.
    • Support the wellbeing, workload balance, and reasonable adjustments for all employees, particularly those working remotely.
  • Reward, Compliance, and Operations:
    • Oversee payroll inputs, benefits, contractor agreements, and renewals, collaborating with Finance and external partners.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, while also promoting best practices and responsible management.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data, files, and systems.
  • Data, Systems, and Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze people data to identify trends and insights, informing strategic decisions and improving operational efficiency.
    • Streamline processes, automate where possible, and eliminate steps that do not add value or create unnecessary complexity.
