Procurement Support Role

The Procurement Support professional provides critical support to the procurement function, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This role focuses on assisting with inventory management, maintaining vendor relationships, and handling basic purchasing tasks under the guidance of the procurement team. By following established processes and providing administrative support, the Procurement Support professional helps maintain efficiency, accuracy, and continuity in the company's procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Execution: Assist in reviewing costs and comparing prices to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records and support professional communication as needed.
  • Inventory & Reporting: Monitor inventory levels and ensure product quality checks are conducted accurately.
  • Accountability & Professionalism: Handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate accountability through time management and proactive reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • At least 1-2 years of procurement/purchasing experience
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of purchasing, compliance, and inventory management principles
  • Proficient in inventory/purchasing systems and MS Office
  • Familiar with collaboration tools and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
