Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer / Purchaser to support our procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services. The ideal candidate will help ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to company quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the sourcing and procurement of materials, products, and services.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and track order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast needs based on demand and supply trends.
  • Support in negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as warehouse, logistics, and finance.
  • Assist in vendor onboarding and maintaining approved supplier lists.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Resolve issues related to damaged goods, delivery delays, or invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • A diploma or certification in procurement or purchasing is a plus (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Internship or previous experience in a procurement/logistics/supply chain department is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of procurement principles and supply chain processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets and procurement software (e.g., Odoo, AIMS, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Professional demeanor and ethical conduct.
  • Fluency in English
