Lead Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Financial Analyst to drive financial success across our organization. As a key member of the finance team, you will oversee internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain internal and external reporting processes, including monthly management reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations (e.g. BAS, IAS PAYG, Corporation Tax, VAT).
- Liaise with stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities to meet compliance deadlines.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team for month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals with high attention to detail.
- Assist in the development of financial models and dashboards.
- Stay up-to-date with taxation changes, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in AU and the UK.
- Contribute to internal audits, compliance checks, and control reviews.
- A strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and anomalies.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple reporting timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience using Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Prior experience in an Australian or UK-based company is highly valued.
