Job Overview

The Credit and Collections Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with sales and billing teams to optimize financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and following up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and mail.
  • Reviewing customer credit applications and preparing credit evaluations for approval.
  • Coordinating with the sales and billing departments to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
  • Processing customer payments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely posting.
  • Preparing aging reports and collection status updates for management review.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.
