Senior Management Accountant Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for financial experts to make a significant impact on company operations and enjoy the benefits of a supportive workplace.

As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate closely with senior management to drive financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Present financial results at management meetings to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and timely BAS/IAS returns.
  • Develop strong relationships with external auditors and address audit queries efficiently.
  • Partner with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts that align with business objectives.
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in related sectors.
  • Qualification as a Chartered or Certified Accountant is highly desirable.
  • Relevant experience in managing diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot can be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
